Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
1. Who we are
COILGO is run by Tyga.Cloud Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14643275). We are the data controller for your personal data under UK and EU GDPR. Contact: privacy@tyga.cloud
2. What we collect
As a guest: a random identifier for your browser, so your runs and today's daily stay yours. Nothing else about you.
If you sign up: sign-up for the Tyga Games network happens at the game center (tygazen.com), which collects your email address, date of birth, handle, face and, if you give it, your country, under its own privacy policy. COILGO keeps your game data against your network identifier. Where COILGO offers its own account, we hold your email address, the name you show on the board, and your password only as a bcrypt hash.
Game data: every run you play (the board's seed and each decision), results, ratings, matches and your record against each rival, ladder entries, and whether you own the full game.
Purchases: payment is handled by our shop and its payment provider. We never see or store card details; we receive only that the purchase was made.
Your network address is used in memory to limit repeated sign-in attempts. We do not store it with your data.
In your browser we store, in local storage and never in cookies: the random identifier, your sign-in token, your theme, board view and sound choice, whether you have seen the lesson, and for 30 minutes what you were about to do when asked to sign up. We use no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. Why (lawful basis)
Contract: running the Game, your player, your runs, ranked matches and the ladder.
Legitimate interests: replaying runs to stop cheating, keeping the ladder fair, security, and fixing faults.
Consent: any marketing email, only if you ask for it, and never inferred from play.
Legal obligation: purchase and tax records.
4. Who we share it with
Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH, on servers in Germany (EU). The Tyga Games game center also holds its members' data at Hetzner.
Our shop and its payment provider: to sell the full game.
The Tyga Games game center: your network identity and sign-in.
Other players: your board name, rating, country if given, and ranked results are shown on the ladder and to your rivals.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
While you play, for as long as your player exists. Personal data is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, except purchase records, which UK tax law makes us keep for 6 years.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or take a copy of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To delete your data: if you joined through the Tyga Games game center, ask the game center; it is the one place to ask, and it tells COILGO to erase what we hold. Until that link is live, or if you hold a COILGO account, email privacy@tyga.cloud.
We reply within 30 days (up to 90 for complex requests). You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local supervisory authority.
7. Transfers
Your data is processed in the EU (Germany). If it ever leaves the UK or EU, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
8. Under 18s
COILGO is for players aged 18 and over. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal data, email privacy@tyga.cloud and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will tell you about material changes in the Game. The date at the top is the latest revision.
